Fair treatment when plans change.
Cancellation charges reflect the stage of the booking, reasonable work already performed and costs that cannot be recovered.
The earlier you cancel, the less it should cost. HARBODE will not impose an arbitrary penalty.
1. Before a professional accepts
You may cancel without charge. Any payment already collected for the cancelled request will be refunded in full.
2. After acceptance, before dispatch
Cancellations made at least two hours before the agreed visit are free. With less notice, a reasonable charge may apply only for documented preparation or other loss, and will not exceed the disclosed diagnostic or call-out fee.
3. En route or arrived
If the professional is already travelling or has arrived, the disclosed diagnostic or call-out fee may be retained. Clearly approved special-order parts that cannot reasonably be returned may also be charged, with supporting evidence.
4. After work starts
You are responsible for work properly completed up to cancellation and approved parts already used or specially ordered. Any unused balance is refundable. No unapproved work may be charged.
5. Professional cancellation or no-show
If the professional cancels, does not attend within the agreed window without a reasonable update, or cannot safely provide the service, you may choose a full refund or a priority rematch without a new matching charge.
6. Safety and exceptional events
HARBODE may pause or cancel a job where there is a safety risk, fraud concern, unlawful request or event beyond reasonable control. The refund will reflect any authorised work already completed and non-recoverable approved costs.
7. Refund timing
Approved refunds are sent to the original payment method. They typically appear within 5–10 business days, although Flutterwave and your bank control the final processing time. We will provide a status update if a refund is delayed.
8. How to cancel or challenge a charge
Use the active booking controls or contact support@harbode.com with your booking reference. If you disagree with a charge, contact us within seven calendar days so we can review messages, travel status, evidence and approved costs. These rules do not reduce rights available under Nigerian consumer law.
